I am setting up a server in my office so that all the students who work here can get some first hand knowledge of Server 2008 (not R2). I would like to be able for them to go in and setup Active Directory, ISS, Image Server, and others. The thing is for active directory, the building is already networked with our schools network which is already has Active Directory setup. Is their a way I can do it locally within our 12 computers in our office with the server never touching the schools network or the internet. I do have a hub and router handy. Kitten and ferret is this normal?

I have a 3 month old kitten and a 5 month old ferret. I got the ferret about a week ago and I've seen a change in my kitten. Things the kitten would not do, or go into before, you just see two fur balls going into things, pulling things out, its crazy. Before he would sleep in my room, but now he sleeps by the ferret cage. I have caught them sleeping together in the cage and when I separate they crawl back to the door. also with the ferret, I put her on the top of the cage in her hammock and she will wake up go down stairs and sleep by the door, where the kitten sleeps now on the other side. The ferret only sleeps in the hammock and stays there if the kitten climbs to the top of the cage to sleep there. When it get to uncomfortable for the kitten he gets down, but sleeps near the cage, when the ferret notices he is gone to the floor, she goes to the bottom too. Its cute, but very odd. they share each others food, water, bathroom. They run around chasing each other and strings on people's pants. I put the ferret away, both pull on the cage door with their teeth, then give me the "party pooper stare". lately i've been letting the kitten sleep in the cage, b/c when i put the ferret away the cat meows, scratching the cage door. Has this happened to others. I know both where taken away from their litter, and like the same things, but this is really weird. They even sit under the couch waiting for feet to go by so they can jump out and attack toes. They are really attached to each other, my cat cleans my ferret. Is this normal?

seriously Chase & Status is absoultly Mental i have been to all three of them and C&S were so much better. Wireless everyone gets knackered early on and cant be bothered for the main act which is a shame really coz you missed something amazing. Indoor venues are insane there is barely enough room for everyone but the tunes and the moshing is much better than outdoors but indoors people collapse a lot because they struggle to breathe. Outdoors is great but the music isn't as good and the moshing is very good but not better than indoors. I suggest you go to a few Indoor venues before you go to a massive outdoor venue. the only amazing outdoor venue i went was to see The Prodigy which was one of the greatest gigs I've ever been to by far. If your over 18 go to see someone like Skream, Borgore, Flux Pavilion, Rusko, Caspa or any other Dub artist for that matter and there wont be as much moshing as there is in DNB venues but they are awesome and there so much more fun than getting punched in the ribs about 40 time in the same night. i promise you that you wont be disappointed because Dub/ DnB Artists have always something different and i promise you there is better to come

Who thinks that the gen 5 legendary pokemon all look stupid?

The legendary fighting pokemon just don't look very legendary, they all look like they were designed very lazily, and sloppily. The legendary geenie things all look like drawings from an amateur comic book too, and exactly the same as eachother, like you can actually see where they just drew one design on Photoshop and altered them a bit (seriously, come on there's loads of people who love drawing who would kill to do that job, yet gamefreak don't sack these lazy designers). Zekrom has exactly the same body as Palkia, just painted black with a different head and tail. Reshiram looks like an uber powerful chicken with a big pointy penis, Kyurem looks like Reshiram after its been plucked and taken out of the freezer ready to be roasted although its an unappetising grey with a steelix's head sticking out of it, and weird lopsided wing things. Victini is totally boring, and a lot like all the other equivelents from previous generations, but lacks the charm which the others had(mew and jirachi looked cute,celebi looked pretty cool, manaphy and shaymin were imaginative). Genesect looks like an enemy from an old fashioned shooting game, and not very pokemon like. Meloetta looks way too human, infact I've heared a few people say they think meloetta looks kinda hot(obviously joking/weirdos but still). The reason why i think it's all so stupid, is i see fan designed pokemon on the web fairly often that look better than the majority of these, and these are drawn mainly by English and American people, in Japan I bet there's loads. So why are we getting these crappy sloppy lazy designs?

New dog in the house wants to kill my cat?

The economy hit my uncle pretty hard and that put he and his insane psychotic siberian husky in our house. Generally licking of one certain area over a period of time means there is an irritation. I would check the paws out very closely, a lot of dogs get foxtails stuck inbetween their toes and this is VERY uncomfortable and if not removed can cause infection as well.

My dog has a chipped tooth and swollen eye?

I just adopted an 8 week old kitten today (female, not spayed yet but will be) and I have a one year old spayed female already. They have been playing nonstop since I brought the kitten home, with a rare hiss here or there. The kitten has only hissed once or twice and the older cat hissed a few times when the kitten was chasing her a lot but other than that they seem to be playing together quietly without hissing or fighting. My 14 Month Old Son Wont sleep through the night?

We are having the same issue! Our son doesn't have a set time he goes to bed at night b/c it depends on if he napped 1 or 2x and for how long but I know the feeling of getting up 2 to 4x a night. He still manages to be up between 6 and 7:30a. It's exhausting and I can't imagine being pregnant and doing it. I'm going to take other peoples advice and start putting water in a bottle and leaving it in his crib to see what happens. The longest we've let him cry was 15 minutes and we still had to go in and rock him back to sleep. It's hard when he started sleeping through the night at 10 months and then started this waking up thing again around 12 1/2 months. He will be 14 months in a few days. Good Luck! How can I teach my 9 week old Yorkie puppy to stop biting & chewing on my toddler?

I rescued a Yorshire Terrier puppy 2 weeks ago. I haven't owned a dog in about 8 years so I'm a little rusty on puppy training. He is still very small, only 3 lbs. He's doing very well in all areas so far EXCEPT for biting & chewing on my 1 year old & 3 year old children. I know he is only playing, but he will not stop no matter what I do. I've tried saying "No" everytime he he does it and giving him a chew toy instead. I've tried putting him in his crate for a few minutes after biting. I've also tried yelling "ouch" & leaving the room for a moment. He continues chasing my children and biting their feet, legs, etc... Any suggestion?

Put on a LOT of weight since losing my job....enough is enough?

5'4'' and 195ilbs...obviously overweight. I was 120 my whole life, and then had my second son bringing my weight to 150. Shortly after I lost my job, and sat on unemployment for a year and now i'm 195. I eat a lot, i mean a LOT...I eat when I'm not even hungry. I watch tv a lot and for whatever reason always have to eat when I'm watching it? I feel down in the dumps about my weight, always say i'm going to do something, but then never follow through. Then, when i fail, I just eat more and feel a little more down in the dumps. I have a 2 year old and 3 year old. I would like to say that I get enough exercise chasing them around all day but obviously not. Since they are so young though I don't like going out with them by myself. I also live 40 minutes away from the "closest" gym. not very convenient! I need to get my life back. I currently own 2 pants, 5 shirts and won't buy more because seeing the size 16 depresses me or the XL/XXL shirt. I'm looking for a DETAILED plan, obviously i'm not capable of doing this on my own or I would have already. I'm planning on getting a sheltie and have a few questions!?

I own a 12 year old sheltie that I have had since he was a tiny pup. In my experience, shelties don't really chase stuff. We have a cat, a rabbit and a ferret and he is very peaceful with all of them. I've never had ducks or chickens, but generally herding dogs aren't bad about chasing down or hurting other animals. They may herd, but the just try to make the animals (or kids) go where they want them to go or stay off the road or whatever. I have heard some shelties are nippy, but my dog has never nipped at anyone or anything. We had small kids when our dog was a young adult and he was really good with them. Shelties do have a lot of coat and need regular brushing- once a day is good - at least a couple times a week is necessary. Some people get them shaved down for the summer, but I have never taken mine to be groomed- I just brush him and clip nails now and then. Shelties need a lot of exercise- I would not recommend one unless you have pretty good sized fenced yard and are willing to commit to walking or other regular exercise. Without enough exercise, they are going to be too hyper. They are a smart breed and easy to housebreak and train. Expenses vary depending on where you live but figure at least 3 vet visits for puppy shots. Honestly, you will spend a few to several hundred dollars the first year on the vet, plus food, toys, crate and bed, brush and nail clippers( teach him very young to get used to being brushed and having nails clipped). And that assumes no real problems. Dogs are expensive and you need credit or a little put back in case of unexpected emergencies.

I cant catch my mare?

i got my 2 yr old mare on monday, shes lived out her whole life and only come in to have injections done, never had feed, carrots etc, we put her straight into the field, went to catch her tuesday and she ran off straight away, did some join up and she kept us just out of arms reach. so the owner of the yard got her in for us, shes been in the stable for 3 days, we let her out last night because she was showing great improvement, she was doing join up great and following me round, eating out of the bucket and out of your hand, so we though shed be ok to go back in last night, she walked off and she let me catch her and stroke her and give her a treat. we went back today and as soon as she saw us she ran off, we did more join up and she kept her ear on us, licked and chewed, lowered her head and didn't want to go far from us, but wen we actually got close to her she would just run off again, shes got a bit of rope on her headcollar to grab onto, but she keeps us just out f arms way to get to her before she runs off again, wont even let us stroke her or give her a treat. we tried the fee bucket but the other mares just chased her away so we gave up with that, anyone got any advice?

Should I try to chase a thief at work?

I am a cart pusher at a hardware store. I was pushing some lumber carts towards the exit doors when I witnessed the start of a chase. I witnessed a 20-something year old woman on her way out of the exit when a man whom I've never seen approach her, that's when she began to run. At first I didn't think it was serious but when the man ran past me he said something along the lines of "get her" then I realized he must be security. I didn't know how to react, so, I just watched as he tried to apprehend her. I saw him get close but then I saw the thief drive off in her car. After the police showed up the security guard asked me why I didn't help. I feel guilty because I feel like I could have been the hero in the situation, but I also feel like it's not my place to chase after her since I'm just a part time carryout doing a summer job for some extra cash. Im just torn about the situation and don't know what to make of it, I have a tendency to freeze in situations of conflict, but I also would like to speak to the manager who was in at the time and talk with the security guard about it. This is mostly for the benefit of the other posters that don't know about Navy Cash Cards. Navy ships do not use cash for anything. Not even a soda in a machine or toothpaste in the ship's store. Ships are completely cash-less and that has virtually eliminated money being stolen from shipmate's lockers. Money is useless on a ship and no one accepts cash. You get a Navy Cash Card at your first afloat command. The Navy Cash Card is only for use on the ship. It is not accepted ashore at the NEX or other stores as a true debit card. You tie your Navy Cash Cash card to your civilian checking account and move funds onto the card from shipboard terminals (they look sort of like an ATM) to buy things at sea. You can move those funds back and forth. So when you leave the Navy or even are off the ship for a while, move the finds off your Navy Cash account and back to your civilian bank account or it will stay in the Navy Cash account. It's really easy to do this at a Navy Cash machine and there are there are Navy Cash machines all over the ship. Ashore, use your personal civilian bank debit card. There are ways you can make your Navy Cash Card work ashore like your civilian bank's ATM card, but I don't use mine that way and I don't suggest it.

I know this question has been asked before (or something close to it). My reason for asking is because my girlfriend and some of her friends went around wearing satanic shirts, every one of them got in trouble for it and had the choice to either turn the shirt inside out, or get Internal suspension. Some of her friends flipped their shirt inside out, and the others.. well they got ISS... the next day they did it again, same results.. BUT they had someone wear a Jesus shirt (which was clearly religious) and the person wearing the Jesus shirt did NOT get in trouble, nor did she get sent to the office. Now there is nothing in the rulebook stating that it is NOT aloud to wear satanic material (or any religious material at that matter) at school. Now some additional details of the matter is that none of the people that participated in that has really got in trouble for much of anything.. they just get tired of all the bible humpers throwing their religion onto them. They just wanted to see if they would be ignored or if action would of been taken.. and low and behold action was taken.. on my girlfriend. She has also tried telling the teacher on them, but the teachers do nothing. so my question is, could the principal get in trouble for doing something to them, and not all the christians that are trying to force their religion on them? Personally I think that there should be no religious showings in school, but other than that I believe there should be ACTUAL freedom of religion.. which is stated in the student handbook. I Need Help Finding Myself...?

I'm 17 years old and I've failed 3 times leaving me very far behind. I used to do things I regret and I very quickly realized that this wasn't the life for me. I'm struggling to finish school because the one thing I want more than anything is to make my mother proud and graduate high school. Yet, I have a hard time concentrating when a million and one things are running through my mind. I always think about my future and how life will be and I don't want to live in poverty as I do today. I'm sick of it and I'm scared that I may never be successful because I have no talents. I can't play an instrument, I'm not head cheerleader, I'm not in the math club. I feel like I'm a nobody and that I have no purpose on this earth but to fail at things. The only thing that I love more than anything is animals (mainly dogs) and cooking. I enjoy being around animals, watching dogs play is like being in paradise. I'm very good at reading dog body language and training dogs. My Golden Retriever Roscoe is almost perfect at my home agility course. I also love to cook, when I'm alone and bored, I love to resort to cooking. There iss nothing better than eating something that you have created yourself. I'm not sure what career possibilites I can choose when I only have 2 main interests. I would never resort to doing something I don't love to do so does anyone have and career possibilities. Veteranarian is out of the question because I have a weak stomach when it comes to animal blood.

How can I tell if my cat has a broken/fractured rib?

She's little over 5 months, and loves to climb on top of the fridge. A few days ago she fell behind it, and since then she's been anti-social, which is odd for her. She's hardly eating and when she moves she wobbles and limps. She lets us pet her (when she comes out from behind the couch) but only on the head. She cringes and mews a lot and just lays in her box behind the couch all day. She will still purr a little, but usually it's just a quiet meow of content. 2008 first time home buyers credit and foreclosure. am I screwed?

Purchased a house in may of 2008. claimed the $7500 on our taxes. home is being foreclosed on this year, 2011. I am moving out of state for work. Why won't my parakeets mate?

FOOLY COOLY! (FLCL) is an awesome quirky anime with a bit of romance you could say. It's main focus is to represent a story of growing up and learning to express feelings though. Soul Eater is a fun anime to watch. No romance in that one though (I guess that there is a minuscule amount).

I'm Not Sure If He Likes Me? Please I Need Help Badly i Like Him Alot!?

We are both 13 and we have been hanging out since last Sunday . I like him alot and im not sure if he likes me. Ithink he does but just not sure. We have been to the library together alone and he was making jokes and making me laugh he wants us to do a book project for school together on the same book. Also today when i met his aunts boyfriend i told him i liked ben and then he told ben which i told him not to say anything but im glad he knows. His aunts boyfriend thinks he likes me but is to shy to say so because he said he used to be just like that when he was that age.He told me to ask him out but im afraid he would say no and he said if he said no that was because he is to shy to say yes. Everybody on his street , his family think we are dating which i don't mind. And when please ask if we are dating he either says no or doesn't say anything at all. He always takes pictures of me and he knows i hate it. He always finds a way to try and touch me ( Not Sexually) like he says " you so silly" and pushes my shoulder over slightly or trying putting things in my shirt. He always throws leaves at me and if he has liquid on his hand he would wipe it on my arm or shirt. He always slaps my but too. He will use his hand or a racket or with his foot or knee. He and his 11 year old brother slept over my house 2 night ago and me and the boy i liked stayed up all night together. We stayed up till 8 in the morning then fell asleep. He fell asleep on my bed which i watched him sleep for about 5 to 10 Min's. Before that when it was after midnight while he was siting on the chair and i was laying on the side of it he but his head on the armrest and was staring at me in the eyes but i had to look away at times because i felt nervous around him. And when he slept over he would talk a Little dirty about me ( lol) But he would chase me around the house and hit my but. Also when he slept over we have the game Dance Central and my sister picked all the sexual songs to dance to so i had to dance a little sexual around him and he kept staring at me watching me dance. He told me to get into the zone so i could dance better ( if you know what i mean). But anyways i like him and i think he likes me but just not sure. Which reminds me today when his aunts boyfriend told him l like him he kept asking me " Is what jeff told me true" i never answered so he kept asking so when we were at the park today he said to me " If you tell me what jeff told me is true then my answer might change in the next 3 days " because Jeff told ben to ask me out and vice versa. No matter how hard this may be for you to handle, its even harder for her right now. It sounds like the abortion conflicts with her religious beliefs, and she is probably confused and scared, wondering if she made the right decision, and being afraid to lose you since you are moving. She doesnt know what to expect because you could have had a child with her and she most likely has strong feelings for you yet you are leaving and she has no idea what this will mean for your relationship, so instead of taking the chance of getting hurt she is trying to push you away and end things before she feels she has even more to lose. I would recommend talking to her about everything, telling her how you feel about her, the abortion, reassure her that you don't look down on her for it, and let her know if you want to still be committed to her when you move. Something's wrong with my gerbils tail....?

So I was holding her in my hand today and petting her. I felt her tail and when I got to the end tip of it, it felt rough. This was new because I hadn't noticed it before. She seems to be loosing hair there, and as I remember it used to be quite full of fur. It has scabs and looks like there's holes, like bite marks perhaps? She has black skin so I couldn't really tell. And she wouldn't sit still so it was challenging to examine. I suspected mites or ringworm? What ISS wrong with her? And what do I do to treat it? (please don't say call your vet, because my mom won't let me. She doesn't think it's worth the expenses)

Being a shy girl myself, I wouldn't find reasons to talk to just any boy. She possibly does have feelings for you, but your not going to get a positive answer on here. Taking baby steps would help. Eight guppies- are they REALLY males though?

In my tank I have eight male guppies. But I'm beginning to get concerned whether the fish really are males because a few of them keep chasing the others around but they're not nipping each other, they seem to be trying to get on top of them. Okay so there is this psycho that is chasing after my girlfriend, he has been at it for a very long time give it, say 3 or 4 years although her and I have not been dating that long, but he sends her a text every night saying how much he loves her. She blows it off, tells him that it is never going to happen he replies by saying, "oh it is okay love you will come around and realize I am the only guy for you" my girlfriend says she is used to putting up with it and doesn't even care about it anymore, but it is starting to get under my skin... he used to be a decent friend of mine. I wouldn't say a best friend or anything, far from, but someone to hang out with. But my girlfriend means so much more to me than this guys feelings, I would hate to see him come unhinged and do something aweful to my girlfriend, she really does mean a lot to me. has anyone else dealt with psycho stalkers? any advice? Can I date my girlfriend's friend if we break up?

I ask this question very seriously, and I am not a person who tries going from girl to girl hooking up or anything like that, but quite the opposite... I started dating my girlfriend in December of my Sophomore year, and now sophomore year has just ended. I originally liked her friend (the same one i like now) but when i found out that my current girlfriend liked me, i became a bit interested. Don't get me wrong, she is very nice and a pretty girl, but i am just definitely more attracted to her friend. just tonight, we were all at another friends party, and i had a great time with this girl we swam with each other until we were the last two in the pool and were constantly laughing and talking (my current girlfriend was inside)... the problem is, the two of them are friends, and getting her to like me could be hard because of that. but there is one more twist.... my girlfriends friend is starting to like this other boy who i know, who is a real jerk. she just started liking him, and he likes her, but they are not "dating" yet. both of the girls are very nice girls who are sincerely nice, and aren't bad kids or anything, but the boy is being sweet to her. what she doesnt know is that he is a kid who fails most of his classes, has gotten suspended from school (iss) multiple times, calls other kids fat and ugly, and, worst of all, came to this girls birthday party on drugs (marijuana). that was the lowest of the low. she didnt realize it, but the other kids at the party did (not to mention that this kid being at her party is like a basketball in a pile of baseballs.. he is a bully at a party with nice people... and its noticable!!) i know im kinda ranting, but i will end by saying that i can't imagine their little romance going on forever, and so when they stop liking each other then i have a better shot.. for now i will continue to talk to her and be flirty and let the time pass... but what can i do to get her to realize what a jerk this other kid is, then move on from my girlfriend to her?? i would never want to be a jerk to my current girlfriend, and i am truly not like that... but i am trying to live life to its fullest and i know i would be happier with the other girl... i know this is a sticky situation that could take a long time to untangle, but can somebody please help me??? thank you!

Why wont my mom let me have any friends?

She is scared to let you out into this world of friends. She thinks that she can protect you if she is guarding you from friends that could influence you into mischief. I know I was one of those mother's. What she doesn't understand is she is hurting you then helping you. My daughter went wild at age 15 when I finally did let her go out into a group of friends. She finished school barley, but ran away and got married at age 18 fresh out of high school. She had a full scholorship top college and gave it all up. She is now divoriced with 3 kids and working two jobs. I wish I would have gave her more freedom. Yourt mother knows how she was when she was young and she did make mistakes, She just does not want you to make those same mistakes. This is why she is the way she is. No matter if you found a friend that was a dedicated christian your mother will find something wrong with her. My mother use to say "If you look long enough you will find something". She also said "Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you what yous are". Sit down and talk to your mother. Explain to her that she is going to have to let you have some kind of friends. Friends are important. Then tell her that if she is worried about you making mistakes to help you out and explain herself about whats out here in this world that she is so scared that you are going to do. Good Luck. Bearded dragons fighting + head bobbing please help!?

I have 3 bearded dragons 1 adult,and 2 sub adultsthe adult lives by himself and the other 2 live in a 60 gallon. The 2 sub adults used to live in the same cage untl I came home 1 day to see the smaller 1 hand was bleeding and he\she couldn't walk on it so I split the cage in half so they wouldn't be able to injure eachother again but yesterday I gave both of them a bath and they were getting along just fne so I thought maybe they could live together again so I took out the seperator and put both of them in the same 60 galon cage and the larger ones beard turned black and puffed up then he started bobbing his head while the smaller one just sarted waving his\her arms then the larger 1 chased the smaller 1 around the cage trying to bite the smaller 1 I'm not sure what sex\gender they are but they keep doing the same thing larger one gets black beard and smaller 1 sits and waves then the larger 1 chases him\her wha does this mean are they fighting or trying to mate I'm scared to put them back in the same cage somebody help
