Credit card suggestions? help!?

I'm trying to build credit because I've never had a credit card, phone bill in my name, and I live at home so I'm starting from scratch. I don't know which credit card company would be the best to go to, or what's best for beginners. I keep getting mail from capitol one, but I've researched them and I've heard they aren't great so I've been throwing their mail out. Also I've heard chase isn't good either. Does anyone have any suggestions!? Please help make this easier, I'm new at this! :)
